FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What is Print On Demand or POD?
Print on Demand (POD) means each print is custom‑made for you at the time of purchase. Rather than holding large quantities of pre‑printed artwork, every order is produced individually based on the selection of print chosen.
How does Print On Demand work?
You select the artwork and choose your preferred size and style of print.
Once you place your order, our professional print partner produces the print specifically for you.
The finished piece is carefully packaged and shipped directly to you.
Why use Print On Demand?
Fresh, High‑Quality Prints: Every print is newly produced using professional‑grade materials.
More Variety: We can offer more sizes and styles without keeping physical stock.
Environmentally Friendly: Items are made only when ordered, reducing waste and overproduction.
No Mass Storage: Your print is never sitting in a warehouse, it’s made only when ordered.
What is Drop Shipping or DS?
Drop Shipping is a fulfillment method where products are shipped directly from our supplier to you. We don’t keep physical stock on hand, your order is sent to our fulfillment partner, who prepares and ships the item on our behalf.
How does Drop Shipping work?
You place an order on our store.
We forward the order details to our trusted print supplier.
The supplier prints, picks, packs, and ships the item directly to you.
Why use Drop Shipping?
More Product Variety: We can offer a much wider range and variety of prints without needing warehouse space.
Lower Waste: Products are only shipped when ordered, reducing the requirement for excess stock.
Faster Access to New Products: We can add new items to our store quickly without waiting for inventory shipments.
Main benefits of POD and DS?
Print on Demand and Drop Shipping are completely normal and widely used methods in modern online shopping. Many artists, photographers, and home‑decor brands use these services because they allow high‑quality prints to be made fresh for each order and shipped safely from professional production partners. Instead of mass‑producing and storing artwork, your print is created specifically for you. Just like ordering from a studio that makes a piece on request. It’s a standard, reliable process used by thousands of online shops worldwide, and while it may feel new to some customers, it’s simply the modern way of ensuring you get a clean, newly made print without the delays or risks of old warehouse stock. If anything ever arrives damaged or incorrect, we’re here to help and make it right
Freshly made products: Items are printed specifically for your order, not pulled from old inventory.
Higher quality control: Each print is produced individually, reducing the chance of defects.
Wider product variety: You have access to a wider range of sizes, finishes and styles. As we do not need to hold stock of each variant of each print individually
Environmentally conscious: Products are only made when needed, reducing waste.
Direct shipping: Items ship straight from our printing partner to you, reducing shipping time and double handling.
Regular product updates: We can add new products more often, giving you fresh options.
Lower risk of out‑of‑stock items: Since prints aren't held physically, availability is more flexible.
Are there any cons using POD and DS?
While our production and shipping methods offer many advantages, they also come with a few limitations worth noting. Print on Demand and Drop Shipping can affect things like delivery times, packaging consistency, and return options, so we want to be transparent about what to expect before placing your order.
Limited ability to return items: Since products are custom‑made, returns/exchanges are usually only accepted for defects or damage.
Possible colour or material variations: Printed‑to‑order products may have slight differences between batches.
Longer or inconsistent shipping times: While our suppliers offer great service, shipping varies by supplier location and workload.
Items may arrive separately: We use different suppliers for variations of our prints. So when ordering certain products or multiple items, you may receive them in multiple packages.
Less control over packaging and quality: Final presentation and inspection depend on our suppliers. While we do everything in our power to produce the best quality items, the final quality control is out of our hands.
Stock fluctuations: Our suppliers may run out of certain items without warning, causing delays or cancellations.
What is the recommended viewing distance for each print size?
To enjoy your artwork at its best, each print size has an ideal viewing distance. Larger prints are designed to be viewed from further away, while smaller prints are meant to be enjoyed up close. The guide below lists recommended distances that ensure the artwork looks crisp and visually balanced:
A0: 3m + Large statement pieces designed to be appreciated from across the room.
A1: 2–3 m Suits living rooms, offices, and open spaces where people naturally stand back.
A2: 1.5–2 m A comfortable mid‑range print size where detail still matters.
A3: 1 – 1.5 m Works well in hallways, bedrooms, and small feature walls.
A4: 0.5 – 1 m Ideal for desks, shelves, or small wall clusters where viewers stand close.
These guidelines help make sure your artwork looks stunning wherever it's displayed, whether it’s in a living room, hallway, office, or gallery space. Balancing clarity, detail, and the intended feel of wall art.
When large prints are viewed up close, you may notice the fine details look softer or less sharp. This is completely normal, larger artworks are designed to be enjoyed from a greater distance, where the full image comes together and appears crisp and visually balanced. Standing at the recommended viewing distance ensures the artwork looks exactly as intended.
Why does viewing distance matter?
The ideal viewing distance for printed artwork follows a simple principle: the larger the print, the further back the eye naturally wants to stand. This isn’t just preference, it’s tied to how human vision resolves detail, how grain/noise becomes visible up close, and how wall art is meant to “sit” in a space.
There are three main factors that shape how artwork should be viewed:
Detail resolution: Up close, even high‑quality prints reveal texture, grain, or brush strokes. From the correct distance, the image blends as intended.
Visual comfort: Larger prints overwhelm the eye if viewed too close and can be perceived as lacking detail. Whereas smaller prints lose impact if viewed too far away.
Placement integration: Wall art is part of the environment. The right distance ensures the piece “sits” naturally in the space.
